Personal archives comprise a wide variety of materials: morning pages, junk journaling, voice memos, memory boxes / capsules, recipe documentation, gratitude + grief lists, dream journals, and so much more. They’re also a way of honoring different life phases—not just calendar seasons, but seasons of grief, joy, transition, growth.

Drawing on her own work, historical examples, and the work of other writers, author Katerina Jeng will guide participants through reflections and writing exercises, making a case for returning to slowness and showing participants how to transform materials from personal archives into art.
