NEW WORK PREVIEW: INKBOAT

inkBoat, a physical theatre and dance company founded by Shinichi Iova-Koga in 1998, performs a preview of Clouds from a Crumbling Giant. The work travels through the transformation of youth into old age, visits the waiting room of the afterlife, and traverses the cycles of human consciousness.

inkBoat’s work is rooted in the Japanese avant-garde, and invites the collaborative voices of artists who meet in the embrace of the unknown. Noh Theater, Coporeal Mime, Butoh Dance, Physical Theater, and idiosyncratic musical compositions add to the fabric that the players weave together.
