Redefining the Family Exhibit

Thank you to Representative Rabb and everyone who came out to celebrate the opening of our new exhibit Redefining The Family: The Livingstons and the Institution of Slavery in Early America. Over 100 people attended the opening reception and were treated to beautiful music, delicious food, and wonderful remarks from:

-
Didi Barrett, Assemblymember
-
Daniel Mackay, Deputy Commissioner of OPRHP
-
Linda Cooper, Taconic Regional Director
-
Lavada Nahon, Interpreter of African American History
-

If you missed it, don’t worry! Redefining The Family will be on view in our Visitor Center through June 2025.
