Weekend Archery Classes Return to Bowdoin Park this Fall

Registration opens Tuesday, September 2^nd at 9am 

Registration for the next round of Dutchess County Parks’ popular weekend archery classes at Bowdoin Park in Poughkeepsie will open September 2^nd at 9am. Sessions begin on September 13^th and will take place at Bowdoin Park’s archery range, located near Pavilion 4. The program consists of five classes, held on Saturdays, with various time slots to accommodate more students. The sessions, each an hour long, are designed for children ages 8 and up, and adults with any level of archery experience. Space is limited, so be sure to register early at www.DutchessNY.gov/ParksEducation.

The first session will cover basic archery safety and skills for new participants. Most of the sessions will be spent practicing with the bows, allowing participants to learn through experience. All equipment is provided. The total cost for the program is $70 per person and includes all five classes and equipment. View the event flyer.

Time Slots

• 8:30-9:30am
• 10-11 a.m.
• 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
• 2-3 p.m.
• 3:30-4:30 p.m.
