Join acclaimed photographers David Hilliard & Elinor Carucci for a hands-on photo weekend in the Hudson Valley. October 10-12, 2025.
The weekend includes a public conversation and reception on Saturday, October 11, featuring MacArthur Fellow Dawoud Bey and Sophie Landres of The Dorsky Museum – open to all and included for residency participants.
Hilliard and Carucci will guide you in exploring how emotion, memory, and personal narrative shape your photographic work through immersive workshops, portfolio reviews, writing exercises, and photoshoots.
This immersive weekend is designed to help you:

- Dive deep into the emotional core of your work
- Develop your storytelling, both technically and thematically
