Join Zero Waste Dutchess and the Clinton Community Library for a Repair Cafe they’re co-sponsoring Saturday, July 12th at the Clinton Town Hall at 1215 Centre Road
https://www.facebook.com/events/1324958225642744
Starting at 12 pm and ending at 4 pm that day, volunteer repair coaches will help people make repairs free of charge (note– let us know asap if you can help out too!).
Tools and materials will be on hand, though small parts will need to be brought along with broken items (or will be suggested for purchase).
Small motors, appliances, clothing, toys, lamps, bikes, chairs, etc.– anything broken is welcome and can more than likely be repaired.
Please contact Judy Malstrom at zerowastedutchess@gmail.com or 845-876-2488 or 971-204-3777 if you think you could fix something that day…
…and/or the Clinton Community Library at clintonlib1215@gmail.com or 845-495-0655 for more information– or if you or someone you know might be interested in helping to volunteer as a repair coach that afternoon!

[note: obviously, aside from teaching during the year in Oregon, I have a summer job working with kids here in Portland– so I myself won’t be able to be there July 12th!] |
