Weekend Retreat, May 16–18

Because our Weekend Retreats meet you where you are in your practice, you’ll have the freedom to work through the painting, piece, chapter, or plan that’s inspiring you. Kaatsbaan supports your respite in the countryside with no distractions, professional facilities, healthy, locally-sourced meals, and other artists as invested in their work as you are.

Imani Gaudin, Artistic Director of Gaudanse, first visited Kaatsbaan during a Weekend Retreat in 2024. She then was awarded a NYSCA grant to return for a 3-week residency this winter. Of her time at Kaatsbaan, Imani said:
