The Orange County Cultural Services Fund (OCCSF) is a new funding resource created to maintain the artistic and cultural assets of Orange County through Capacity Building Initiatives. Financial resources for this program have been made available by the New York State Legislature and administered by Arts Mid-Hudson (AMH). Established nonprofit arts organizations or artistic programs that have been in existence for three or more years and have a record of success are eligible and are encouraged to apply for funding.
Focus: Capacity building initiatives of Orange County nonprofit organizations that identify arts and/or culture as a primary activity in the organization’s mission.
Deadline: Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 11:59 PM
Funding Amount: Capacity Building Initiative requests range from $2,500 – $7,500. There is no cash match required.
Capacity Building Initiatives are intended to help nonprofit arts organizations work more effectively and better meet their mission. Initiatives may create a new area of work, develop new strategies, or enhance current programming in a significant manner.

An information session will be held via Zoom on August 22 at 4:00 PM. The session will be recorded and made available on Arts Mid-Hudson’s website. Four Q&A sessions will be held via Zoom to answer applicant questions.
