Black Box Theater

This intimate, informal showing of work-in-progress Weill Boy, Brecht Girl, Eisler Mann features performance and visual artist  John Kelly. He uses 20th-century art songs, movement, character delineation, and gender role-play to realize a theatrical rendering of personal themes and contemporary issues. Kelly is joined by pianist Mila Henry as Music Director and collaborator. The work has been developed in part during Kelly’s residency at Kaatsbaan.
