SERINO, HINCHEY AND THE HYDE PARK CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT
TEAM UP TO HOST ‘SKILLED TRADES FAIR’
Skilled Trades Fair
Wednesday, October 30, 2024; 6 PM – 8 PM
Franklin D. Roosevelt High School (156 S Cross Rd, Staatsburg, NY 12580)
In an ongoing effort to engage students with the trades, Dutchess County Executive Sue Serino, NYS Senator Michelle Hinchey and the Hyde Park Central School District are partnering to host an informational skilled trades fair to give students and young adults the opportunity to learn more about different career paths available in the Hudson Valley area. Representatives from various trades will be on hand for attendees to ask questions and learn more about future opportunities.
“FDR High School is excited to host a skilled trade fair for the third year. It is an excellent opportunity for our students to speak with experts in their respective fields and learn about the various opportunities that our community has to offer. I would encourage all students to attend the trade fair and speak with as many vendors as possible. It is my hope that all in attendance leave the skilled trade fair with insights of the various fields,” said Michael Ruella, Principal of Franklin D. Roosevelt High School.
This free event is scheduled for Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 6 PM to 8 PM and is open to the public and students from surrounding Dutchess County school districts. No RSVP is required to attend.
