 Dutchess County Executive Sue Serino will host her annual Women’s Networking Event on Thursday, July 17th at 5:30 PM at the Henry A. Wallace Visitor and Education Center in Hyde Park. This free event is an opportunity for local women to build new connections and grow their personal and professional networks.

 This year’s theme, The Faces of Resilience, will shine a light on remarkable local women who have demonstrated unwavering strength in perseverance in the face of life’s challenges.

 Attendees will hear from inspiring speakers, including:

• Karmen Smallwood, Assistant Commissioner for Youth Services, Dutchess County Government
• Britney Ettinger, Bolger House Program Director, Mental Health America of Dutchess County
• Epiphany Musabyemariya, Personal Care Assistant

 “Life can test us in ways we never expect, but the women speaking at this year’s event remind us that true strength is found in how we keep moving forward – for ourselves and for the people who count on us,” said Dutchess County Executive Sue Serino. “My hope is that everyone who attends leaves not only feeling inspired by these stories, but also connected to new friends and neighbors they can lean on. We’re stronger when we lift each other up, and this event is all about making those connections that help us do just that.”

 Serino first launched this annual Women’s Networking Event in 2018 while serving as State Senator and has since brought together over one thousand women from every walk of life to share stories, build connections, and uplift one another.
