“The Dutchess County Board of Health strongly supports the acquisition of electric buses for
school districts in Dutchess County. We recognize that as many as 2000 students in Dutchess
County have asthma and are impacted by diesel buses. We believe switching to electric
buses will help improve the health of those riding the buses as well as the neighborhoods
where the buses run.”
