The 2024 Election will shape the landscape for climate action for the foreseeable future. A lot can still be done to ensure climate-positive outcomes at both the federal and state levels. Ensuring that environmentalists are active voters can have a huge impact.
Sustainable Hudson Valley is excited to join the Environmental Voter Project in their ongoing, nonpartisan get-out-the-vote campaign leading up to Election Day. We invite and encourage you to attend any of their sessions.
Our staff will all be attending their event “Environmental Voter Phone Bank with Citizens’ Climate Lobby,” a high-energy phone banking session this coming Wednesday, October 23 from 7:00 – 8:30 PM. A brief training on how to use the software and what to say is included at the beginning of the phone bank – all you need is a computer with internet access and a cellphone.
Will you join us at this virtual phone banking event?
Help us spread the word in your networks to build even more participation in EVP’s upcoming events leading up to the election! It is a great skill, an interesting activity, and makes a measurable difference getting more environmentalists to vote.
EVP is a sophisticated organization that identifies environmentalists who don’t vote – and unfortunately there are many. Using calls and postcards with respectful, smart messaging, EVP turns non-voters into committed voters, impacting many races. We love this organization because it is so scientific in its methods and transparent in documenting results. CCL is a nonpartisan national organization that builds Congressional support for proven climate policies. |
