Mike Frazier – 19th Century Advertising—The advertising that appeared in the Rhinebeck Gazette will be the focus of this talk since it not only allowed the newspaper to afford to do its work, but it often revealed as much about the 19th century character of our town as the news reported in the same issue of the newspaper. The advertising also provides information about the business history of the community not available anywhere else.
