WALKWAY PARTNERING TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR BREAST CANCER

Walkway Over the Hudson Breast Cancer Awareness Day

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Dutchess County Executive Sue Serino is once again teaming up with the Walkway Over the Hudson to host a free ‘Breast Cancer Awareness Day’ in an ongoing effort to offer individuals the opportunity to connect with organizations and health services. This event will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on the Poughkeepsie side of the Walkway Over the Hudson (61 Parker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601).

The following organizations will be in attendance:

• American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Hudson Valley
• Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital, a member of WMC Health
• Sparrow’s Nest of the Hudson Valley
• The Dyson Breast Center at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, part of the Nuvance Health Cancer Institute
• Dutchess County Department of Health
